Great Murex Cornucervi from arafura sea, with long spines. This specimen caught by fish net at 15 - 20 m depth. Very beautiful shell !!!

Locality : Nusa Barong Island, East Java.

One of the most beautiful Amphidromus in the world. Unbelieveable "rose red" coloration, with 4 color varieties. Yellow/red & yellow/black color were common, Solid red color is harder to get. Available in dextral and sinistral.

Probably a new subspecies. Found pair from the same location, both have similar characteristic.A very rare & unique specimen !!!
